It was Fun, but on-line used book sellers and eBooks took too many folks out of the used bookstore market. We lasted longer than most, but economics finally won, and we lost.
From September 1971 to August 2017 this bookstore was a great place on 517 in Dickinson.
Then Hurricane Harvey brought 6 feet of water.
Re-opening the store as it was is just not economically feasible
Now only offering Magazine Subscriptions by Mail Order.

Because we are not a bookstore or a website, we can no longer send books to inmates.
After spending 44 years in the best retail job there is, bookseller, it is over.
I had great fun with customers, some families for three generations.
I was lucky enough to be able to hire and work with some awesome people.
Sadly, I just am not able to make a living, or even pay the bills.
